Frequently asked questions

The questions creators and brands ask us before starting a project — answered honestly. Pricing, process, ownership, NDAs, turnaround, revisions, and the rest.

Pricing & engagement

Project pricing depends on length, complexity, motion graphics, and turnaround. Most long-form YouTube edits land between $300–$1,200 per video. Short-form (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) typically $80–$250 each. Retainers from $2,000/month start with 8 short-form or 3 long-form deliverables. Custom scopes always quoted in writing.

Both. About 70% of our revenue is retainer; 30% is project work. Retainers from $2K–$15K+ per month include a dedicated editor, project manager, and priority queue. Net-15 payment terms available for retainer clients.

Yes. Stripe, credit card, PayPal, ACH, and wire transfer accepted. Card data never touches our servers — payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers. Invoices and receipts on file. See our trust page.

One-off projects: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Retainers: monthly in advance, or Net-15 for established clients. We accept Stripe, ACH, wire, and PayPal. Custom terms quoted for enterprise engagements.

Process & timing

Long-form YouTube edits: 5–7 business days standard. Short-form (Reels/Shorts/TikTok): 48–72 hours. Ads: 3–5 days. Rush options available with surcharge. The dates quoted on day 0 are the dates we hit — we track every project against a published delivery schedule.

Discovery call → brief & footage handoff → first cut → revisions → final delivery. Full breakdown on our how it works page.

Each engagement includes the rounds specified in your project Order — typically 2–3 rounds for most edits. Material scope changes (new footage, restructured deliverable, additional use cases) are quoted as additional work so we don't quietly absorb them.

Yes for retainer clients (built into capacity). For standalone rush projects, depends on team availability. Some weeks we can turn a 10-minute YouTube edit in 48 hours, some weeks we can't. We'll always tell you upfront with a rush surcharge quoted in writing.

Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, CapCut. Review & files: Our platform with a built-in video reviewer (Google Drive on request). Comms: Platform, email, WhatsApp, or iMessage. We can adapt to Slack or Frame.io if your team already uses them, but it's not the default.

Yes. We study reference videos you provide and match cadence, color, and motion style. Most clients land on a consistent style within 2–3 videos. On retainers you get a dedicated editor who learns your style, brand, and recurring assets.

Ownership, IP & confidentiality

Yes. We have a standard mutual NDA we'll sign at no charge for any client that requests one — usually within one business day. Custom client NDAs are reviewed case-by-case (we may decline overly burdensome ones, but we'll always tell you upfront so you can decide whether to use ours instead). Either way, we operate under NDA-by-default standards even when no document is signed: we never share unreleased client work without permission.

You own the final delivered files (MP4, MOV, JPEG, PNG, etc.) on final payment. Source files (Premiere/AE/DaVinci projects, layered designs) are an optional paid add-on — has to be requested before the project starts and confirmed at quoting. We retain source files internally for 24 months so revisions stay possible. Full details in our Terms of Service.

Yes. By default we may display delivered work in our portfolio. If you want a non-disclosure carve-out, just say so in writing and we will not publish or reference the project externally.

Encrypted cloud storage with role-based access. Only your assigned project team can access your files. Files retained for 24 months after delivery and deleted on request earlier. Encryption in transit and at rest.

Team & quality

Mark Santos (founder) is based in the Philippines. Our 25+ person team is fully global — editors, designers, project managers, and motion artists across the Philippines, US, and Europe. We work asynchronously with overlap windows in your timezone. Meet the team.

On retainers: yes, you have a dedicated editor who learns your style, brand, and recurring assets. For one-off projects we still match by content type, so your second project will already feel more "yours" than your first.

Senior-only. Every project goes to an editor with 5+ years of professional experience and a portfolio in your content category. No juniors learning on your footage. See our trust page.

If a v1 is structurally wrong, we rebuild it on us — that's a miss, not a scope change. If after revisions you're still not happy, we'll get on a 15-minute call to realign and find the disconnect. We've delivered 10,000+ projects and we'd rather make it right than ship a video you don't love.

Services & fit

Yes — thumbnails are part of our Design & Branding service. We work in concept-first templates so you get options before final art, and our top thumbnails consistently hit 8%+ CTR.

Both. We have a dedicated YouTube Strategy & Growth service for channel audits, content strategy, retention optimization, SEO, and packaging. About 40% of our retainer clients also engage on strategy.

Both. About 60% of our clients are individual creators (YouTubers, podcasters, coaches), 40% are brands and agencies (DTC e-commerce, B2B SaaS, marketing agencies, course creators). The workflow is the same — only the brief differs.

Absolutely. Most of our clients run a long-form + shorts engine, and we structure the workflow so the same footage powers both at once. See our repurposing playbook.

Yes — through our Content Localization service. Translation, dubbing, subtitles in 40+ languages for global audience reach.

Getting started

Submit your project on the platform — the intake form takes about 10 minutes. You'll get an instant quote and we'll reach out within one business day to confirm timeline. Prefer to talk first? Book a 15-min discovery call.

A paragraph + 2–3 reference videos is enough. We have a structured brief template you can use, but a Loom + a few links works too. The single most important thing is the reference videos — they tell us pacing, tone, color, and energy faster than any document.

Probably yes if: you publish weekly or more, you care about quality more than the cheapest possible price, you want a partner not a vendor. Probably no if: you need same-day turnaround on every video, your budget is under $200/month total, or you want unlimited revisions for a flat fee. See how we compare with other options.

5–7 days from when we have everything we need (footage, brief, references), for any format — long-form, short-form, ads. We often deliver in 3–4 days but the guarantee is 5–7. Need it sooner? We offer expedited tiers — 5 days flat, 72 hours, 48 hours, or 24-hour rush — quoted with a surcharge upfront.
